@cspanofficial: During Tuesday’s White House press conference, Vice President JD Vance was question by reporters on the $1.8B applied for President Trump’s “anti-weaponization fund.”   This is about compensating Americans for the lawfare that we saw under the last administration — anybody can apply for it,” Vance pointed out.   The Anti-Weaponization Fund is a federal compensation program designed to pay people who claim they were unfairly targeted by government agencies, using about $1.8 billion from the U.S. Treasury’s Judgment Fund.   Although critics have raised questions about the legality of the process, Vice President JD Vance defended the Anti-Weaponization Fund, saying no money is directed to the Trump administration and that it is intended instead to compensate individuals who may have been unfairly targeted or harmed by government action.   “Is a dollar of this money going towards the Trump administration?
