i went to vancouver last year, beautiful city. one thing i didn’t like was east hastings though. i feel like the government should invest more and do a better job addressing the issues there.

$55к for a house in Abbotsford on a 5 Acres land, 40 years ago. Wages of a welder $26.50 an hour at that time, basically by living on one income family of two working adults and saving one salary for two years parents bought a house for cash in two years. Three years ago it was sold for $4.3 million. Do the math🙈

I’ve lived here since ‘68. I grew up in East Vancouver (K’way & Knight) and went to Gladstone. I drove a cab during Expo. A lot has changed in this town since then. I’m 62 now and I can’t imagine living anywhere else!

Parking was free on the streets beaches., and parking lots. Easy access to everything without crowds . Not difficult to find our happy place in the city
