I cried for the first 9 months of our daughters life. Just at home on my own with her. As soon as I stepped out the front door, the fake smile was there for all to see. Hubby finally got me to the Dr and I was diagnosed with moderate to severe PPD and given anti depressant. 33 years later I'm still on them 😵💫

Thankfully obstetricians monitor closely for this now after the baby is born, plus they have apps now where you can check in daily as to how you are feeling after giving birth and advise what to do if you are struggling and or depressed

I remember, I was talking to my dad, n just started bawling. He smiled at me and said , it's just the blues 💙..I lost my Mom to cancer when I was pregnant. I quickly recovered because My baby needed me. it went away. I was lucky. But My sister. my sister my sister. I was so lucky to have her. thank Jesus she was there.
