@the_busy_woman: Sister Mary Bernard tells Carlos that "money can't buy happiness." Gaby retorts "Sure it can! That's just a lie we tell poor people to keep them from rioting". Gabrielle Solis clocked it! As billionaires buy comfort and freedom, working people are told to survive on gratitude instead of stability. Carlos Solis is a new man after being paroled. Gaby discovers his letters to a nun, Sister Mary Bernard, who helped push forward his parole case. At first, Gaby thinks it’s a good thing that he’s become more faithful, but when she meets Mary, she’s no longer supportive, claiming Sister Mary is “young and hot.” While Carlos assures his wife that their relationship is strictly platonic and that Sister Mary is helping him become a more spiritual person, Gabrielle wants to make sure and invites Mary over for lunch. What follows the invitation is a drama-packed meal! The famous line was delivered in Desperate Housewives Season 2, Episode 9, titled "That's Good, That's Bad". #desperatehousewives #gabriellesolis #evalongoria #tvshow #drama
