he texted me (on our 6 month anniversary )2 weeks after the breakup asking me if i wanted to link to talk .I said i needed time .A week later i asked what is it he wants to link and talk about . He had the audacity to ask to be in basically an exclusive situationship with the intention of never getting back together .He did not even give me the option of getting back together in a relationship .Keep in mind we broke up because he no longer loved me nor wanted to commit .I blocked him immediately . I love him so much and i miss him but i no longer recognise him -he is not the guy I fell in love with in the beginning.

if it helps anyone, you lowkey dont want to know the answer :( because i did reach out to him afterwards because i needed to know and now i know he does care, he does still love me and he does regret leaving. somehow this makes it worse because now i know he loves and cares for me still but not enough to fight for it n does nothing about it every single day.
