My wife had cancer and no family member was helpful, on both sides, when my wife asked her brother why? He said that he didn’t think I needed any help. It’s been 6 years, and it’s very hard for me to try to be cordial, I can’t fake my attempt to be interested in them. I’m not angry, I’m not interested in playing games of caring, I say hi and move away
