Jokes on them. I’m neurodivergent so didn’t catch on to what they were doing. Thought it was just a fun introspective exercise. Left me more energized and ready to crush my job knowing how much I loved it after re-validating myself. Fired the next week.

this happened to me during my short term gig at the end of my "1st week employment" my manager said to me "do you like what you're doing here?" then they let go of me after 3 weeks of employment. so CRUEL. they said they didn't need my services anymore but eventually they hired someone after a week.
