@melissadorman: There are three things wealthy kids learn around the dinner table in middle school. Most of us spent that age memorizing state capitals instead. Here they are. 1. Debt is a tool, not a moral failing. Wealthy parents teach their kids early that some debt makes you richer and some debt makes you poorer. Bad debt drags you. Good debt builds you. The difference is whether the asset pays it or you do. 2. Your salary is the slowest way to build wealth. Wealthy kids learn that a paycheck is a paycheck. It pays today's bills. It doesn't compound. Assets compound. So they're taught to focus on owning things that pay them, not on chasing the next raise. 3. The tax code was written to reward ownership. This is the one nobody talks about. Wealthy parents teach their kids that the tax code rewards people who OWN things (real estate, businesses, investments) and taxes people who EARN things (wages). Same dollar, completely different tax treatment. We didn't learn this because most of our parents didn't know it themselves. That's not a failure on their part. It's a system that was never built to teach the rest of us. But you can teach it to yourself now. And then teach it to your kids. Comment MASTERCLASS and I'll show you how the whole playbook works. #wealthbuilding #financialeducation #moneymindset #sellerfinancing #generationalwealth
