Spot on, I'm likely never buying a console ever. having access to PS games on a PC is a win win situation. I get games, they make extra money. With the direction they're taking, they'll be making less? they're already losing money on consoles and their entire profit comes from games. it doesn't make sense

I’m not buying a console anymore. I’m solely PC so if a game doesn’t come to it I just won’t play it. These corporations are just being way too greedy.

Think of it like this. Nintendo has exclusives and they have their switch amd switch 2. Nintendo games are pretty much exclusive to Nintendo products and because of it their popularity is...well it's bad. Especially when other platforms are capable of making better games which compete with their exclusives. Now IMHO I believe that's where Sony is headed again, locked FPS and a small list of exclusives to rely on that may or may not be well received based on the performance of those games. Look at Cyberpunk when it released. On console it was atrocious...now imagine it was locked to PS only. It would be dead. The point being Sony has made a massive mistake going exclusive-only again because not only do they risk losing sales to bad releases of a limited pool of IPs but they may lose access to other IPs such as COD and many others that Xbox, Steam and Nintendo may have shared with them in the past over this decision

I made a comment on a ps5 price hike video as a joke "yall got ps5 money?" I got tons and tons of "how have you not saved up 500 bucks?" Comments calling me broke. I gave up and deleted my comment cuz of how much they kept dragging me. 🙄🙄🙄

I find it so interesting that Sony gets booed for going back to their exclusive to console ways but Nintendo is fine. I find it interesting the complaint is everyone should have access to their games but 90% of PC titles are not on console. It’s just an interesting point of view.

Sony do not put out enough exclusives to justify the mark up for the Pro, Their push into GAAS was terrible, Their Product line up is getting to Apple levels. Xbox have the games but their not exclusives. Their output is top tier and the prices are coming down. Rn GTA is sony gamble. No day 1 on PC and no PS4 version. They hope their old Player base will upgrade finally

I feel the reason people aren’t complaining about Xbox going back to consoles exclusives is that they still release on PC, cause Microsoft. Let’s face it, we all know the reason for this move is the new Xbox being able to play PC games. Also, as a PC gamer I’m one of those that will not be buying a PS for one or two exclusives a year, and thats if I’m actually interested in them.

Yeah, it wouldn’t persuade me to buy their console just because they’re bringing back exclusivity. There’s few exclusives on the console that I’d be interested in playing with everything else and more available on PC and it is insanely more expensive than it is worth, especially with the markups.

My theory is they raised the price on ps plus because gta 6 is close to launch and we all know that it’s going to launch on console first and you need ps plus to play online

🙄🙄🙄 Xbox just raised the prices on all Xbox models and fired 3200 people. Their exclusives have already been proven as coming to PlayStation so good luck with that.

The other major difference is that Xbox exclusives were always available on PC because Microsoft is a PC company. So it didn’t force PC players to buy an Xbox. PlayStation’s changes DOES force a PC player to buy a console.
