I work on AWD chargers and explorers for a living. COP CARS !!!! Twisted axles don’t fail at the snap of a finger. The axle was bad when you sold the car. Terrible business.

Keyword “as is”. If you want piece of mind buy a brand new car with a factory warranty not a 10 yr old Mercedes that are known money pits. I think you’re being nice paying even half. Not your fault it broke. With a shredded transfer case buddy was definitely doing pulls and broke it.
