@aprilleigh.jewelry: In honor of the 2026 market season quickly approaching, let’s tackle my absolute favorite comment shoppers say about my jewelry, thinking I can’t hear! 🥰 Also just a psa that this post is just a joke and that I actually won’t tolerate any copying of my pieces 🤣🤍 #farmersmarket #wirewrappingjewelry #gemstonejewelry #wirewrappedpendant #handmadejewelry
This is absolutely the most basic and easiest wire wrap there is to do.

Hi everyone! Thank you all for your input on my pricing & how easy this looks! While I agree that this is not a super difficult wrap, it still takes experience to make it look easy & to do it with minimum use of tools. I only use tools at the very end to tuck the wire, so there is no marring on the wire. Also, these are 14k gold fill (waterproof & hypoallergenic), are all genuine gemstones, include free shipping, and are handmade-to-order within 3 business days. So there’s more than just the look of the piece. These are my April Necklaces and are available on my website in 16 gemstone options, and also white gold fill (silver)! ✨🤍

Well let's be fair, the pliers and cutters aren't one-time use, so if you're using them right that should be maybe a couple cents per piece, and the wire surely is 10€ per spool not per the bit that you use per piece

As someone who makes jewelry and other items, I cannot stand when makers try to justify prices by naming off every item that is multi use as if that cost is a factor every single time. Justify it through your work, not the tools you bought 7 years ago that have already paid for themself multiple times over

The 7 years experience is where the value is. I’ve been learning wire and jewelry for almost a year now and it’s still so challenging. It’s by far the hardest hobby I’ve I’ve tried.

Very pretty. Funny how anyone thinks they can do something that you have taken years to perfect! You do you!! 😏

let's be realistic, it's certainly does not take 7 years of experience to make this stuff, and you weren't born knowing any of it either. you learn the same way we all do. and with youtube, a zillion things are possible. it only took me a couple of videos and a few days to start making these things myself. the initial costs for materials are only pricey if you're only making one thing, then yes it's cheaper just to buy the piece. but if you plan on making several of them or doing it as a hobby, it's not that expensive.

People are so weird in these comments bruh if you can do it then DO it, who told you to buy from a small business? Do it yourself. Why hate on someone that knows their worth and charges accordingly? She doesn’t have to justify anything to anyone not about price or anything else. Don’t want it don’t buy it! Keep doing what you are doing girl, I’m with you!

I love these. I do my own wire wrapping. It’s so good to be able to whip something together quickly to go with an outfit

Absolutely! I just started wrapping some sea glass this week and not only is it WAY harder than it looks (my poor sore fingers lol) but the materials are pricey!

That’s how I end up thousands of dollars deep in a new craft and then find out it wasn’t for me 🫣 just pay the nice vendor save time money and support a small business.

Even if the wrap is simple, it takes time and effort to learn the basic techniques. Would you rather spend $30 on a cute necklace or $70 and 20 hours on a cute necklace??

This comment section is not it. Jewelry making is VERY time consuming, needs expensive supplies and skill that takes years to master.
