that mixing valve going back into the wall means it probably feeds a tub hot side with tempered water. (we are required in my state feed roman valves this way)

What’s the code for the door from the garage to the dwelling? I’ve heard it verys from place to place. I grew up in a house built in 2000 and it had the self shutting door but the neighbors house built in 2002 didn’t have one
