"The beginning" is a build up of suspension which allows poets to already bring tension into the poem through only two words. | The identifier 'The' shows that the poem is based on a harsh backstory showing the poet's harsh life when they were a child, and how throughout life they had a harsh discrimination. This gave them the belief that the only part of their life worth knowing starts at that point.| The noun 'beginning' also helps to depict a deep look into the Poet's past, as this form of language is usually seen in fantasy novels, the word shows that the Poet must think of their life as a form of dark fantasy. | There is also the dialect used, the font the poet used for these words help to show that they want to show the reader this 'beginning' of their life is meaningful to them. This shows that it will most likely reveal to an important section of their life.| Lastly, the full phrase 'The beginning' shows that the Poet is basing this poem on a flashback of a harsh past. This past must have been important to them, since they think of it as the beginning of their story, important enough to start st that point without revealing a point of their life before or after it. 'The beginning' leaves the reader. curious about the poem, this leading them to read the poem, so the writer could've also done it to help interest the reader with the poem.| So how did I do teach?
