@grantleegolf: THE FACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSING! There are a few things you need to hit a high soft shot and a few myths to avoid. 1. The face needs to be closing through impact to help create frictions and should be more closed than at address. It’s perfectly okay and actually good I’ve you have some shaft lean at impact as well (you should not have any shaft lean at address) 2. You need to be moving up! If your body is dropping down still while coming into impact you WILL run into contact issues, a great feel for this is the lead leg extending through impact 3. You need to grip the club when the face is already open! If you grip the club then open the face this will require you to try and add lift at impact and that prevents you from being able to close the face through impact and add more friction #golfcoach #golftips #golfchipping #flopshot
