I just wrote a whole thing about this and it deleted and I’m kind of annoyed but I like how they make it seem that he’s a bad guy because obviously in the book it’s obviously very different because he’s a football player and we see the internal monologue of they run in the same circles so Garrett knows it’s all an act he’s pretending to be sweet and like kind so he can just get into girls pants and like it’s really shown out in the book that it’s all just an act and it’s like a play, but obviously in the show we don’t get that so it’s kind of hard to bring it across so I quite like how it was just it was just a little thing of he had a jacket and he didn’t offer it to her until Garrett swooped in and gave her a jacket but I do like all the little things they do in the show to play homage to the bigger scenes in the book that were left out like the lasagna scene I really wish they did have that and I would’ve loved to see that in the show that would’ve been so good but I like that they still brought it up I like that they brought up grace for the next season there’s a couple things that I like, but I’m also very sad that they missed out some of these awesome scenes
