Some days, I genuinely wonder if I'm getting this parenting thing wrong. Then Millie goes and does something like this. Without a second thought, she held the convenience store door open for a couple who were struggling to get their baby's pram inside. Then, a few moments later, she took the rubbish out of my hand and put it in a nearby bin—all without being asked. Moments like these remind me that beneath the attention-seeking, the occasional tantrums, and the endless squabbles with her big brother, she's growing into a kind, thoughtful little person who notices when others need help and genuinely wants to do the right thing. She made me incredibly proud tonight. Maybe we're not always as bad at parenting as we think. @Yinka
