Nancy Morgenstern, 32 years old, North Tower 104th floor Nancy Morgenstern was born on December 10, 1968 to Suri and Harvey Morgenstern in Brooklyn, NY. She was the oldest of five children. She lived in New York City, NY. Nancy attended and graduated from Shulamith High School and Queens College. Nancy was a dedicated young woman who loved the outdoors. She was very devoted to her passion of cycling and went on many long bike tours, including from Bryce Canyon to the Grand Canyon. She had fallen in love with biking ever since a trip out west with the Century Road Corp Association. She made many friends through the hobby and was very committed to it. Nancy had traveled all over the world to go cycling, and she especially loved visiting Israel and the Judean desert. Nancy also loved skiing and had made many friends through that hobby as well. She was very dedicated to her Jewish faith and was always observant of Jewish holidays and traditions. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them. Nancy was described by her friends and family as vibrant, outgoing, disciplined, and thoughtful. Nancy worked as an administrative assistant for Cantor Fitzgerald on the 104th floor of the World Trade Center’s North Tower. She started working for Cantor in the winter of 2000 after doing bookings for the firm for seven years as a travel agent. On the morning of September 11, 2001, Nancy was working on the 104th floor when Flight 11 struck the North Tower, leaving her floor and all of Cantor’s offices above the impassable impact zone. None of the firm’s attending employees survived the attack, including Nancy. Though her life was sadly taken on September 11th, Nancy’s vibrant spirit lives on forever in the special memories she made while she was here and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
