@ainomadkorea: Korea summer is no joke. If you live here or stay long-term, AC cleaning is something you should actually think about. I booked a professional wall-mounted AC cleaning service. Two cleaners came. One cleaned the inside of the AC with high-pressure equipment, while the other washed the filters and separated parts in the bathroom. They also protected the wall and floor before cleaning, which was nice. The shocking part? I cleaned this AC only about a year ago, but there was already a lot of dust inside. After cleaning, the cooling fan turned back to its original blue color. That’s when I realized this really needs to be done regularly. I paid around ₩70,000, but prices can vary depending on the company, AC type, and condition. If you’re living in Korea, especially in Seoul, do this before summer starts. AC is not just comfort here.
