Stop butchering your plants. Cutting all the suckers is only ok when you’re growing hydroponic tomatoes indoor and want them to grow high and not wide to save space.

Know you type of tomatoe plant. Bush tomato plant or vining tomato plant. One you leave alone and the other you prune the suckers….

this is not true for all tomato plants. it depends on what type you have. so many of these.posts on tiktok who never explain this is NOT for all types

I notice you had let your suckers grow pretty big before removing them. We always pinch off as soon as we see them in the crook of a branch and the stem. Is there a benefit to waiting?

On my indeterminate. After I harden my plants off from indoors. I'm ready to transplant into my amended soil bed. I pinch off my suckers up until my first bloom forms. Then they are on their own until they reach their fifteenth leaf/stem. Once they produce their sixteenth leaf/stem. I start pruning the lowest leaf/stems. Maintaining fifteen leaves/stems in the season. It works for me with a huge harvest.
