4 parts water to 1 part sugar is what I was told by a wonderful older lady at the store. Works great. Don’t by that stuff from the store. I change the sugar water out once a week. Hummingbirds return every year. I put the feeders in the same spot with morning sun so they are in partial shade the rest of the day.

Please boil the water for 5 minutes and let cool all the way down and then add the sugar. 1 cup water to 1/3 cup sugar

those are a breeding ground for bacteria and fungus that harm hummingbirds. fun fact hummingbirds eat bugs. all you really need are flowers

No don't simmer. Heat water to boil, remove, add sugar, stir and let cool. 4 parts water 1 part sugar.

I have one of these and love the flat bottom. So easy to fill and clean. My hummingbirds come back year after year. They also sit on the little rail. Perfect size for their little feet.
