@glencore.aus: Take a tour of Bulga Coal Mine’s new 4-bay Ultra Class Workshop – a $30 million investment built for the future of our fleet. Designed to service Bulga’s fleet of ultra class trucks (Cat 797 and Komatsu 930E), loaders and water carts, the new facility replaced the old workshop which was only suited to Cat 793’s and forced our teams to work in igloos to maintain the larger trucks. With 19 new 930E trucks added between 2022 and 2023, the need for a purpose-built facility was clear. Featuring overhead cranes and reinforced flooring, the workshop gives our maintenance teams a safe, controlled and efficient workspace to complete servicing. Construction kicked off in 2024 and was completed at the end of 2025 with crews celebrating the milestone over a series of lunches to officially open the workshop. #AUS #AU #Mining #Coal
