@darioflick: #LOTF — idk what this is I made this in like 5 minutes alr #xyzabc #viral_video #omgpage #lordoftheflies

￴￴￴￴ :

this book actually sickens me. I read it sophomore year for English and it makes my stomach churn. I simply cannot with this book

Mariah🤯 :

It also reminds me of yellowjackets

Reddevils96 :

The most important thing about this book is it serves as an incredible example of how literature/art/pop culture can influence our perception of other people. We have a wide and well documented history of humans of all ages doing the exact opposite if this book in tikes of crisis. Strangers putting their lives at risk to save other strangers from natural and made disasters alike. Children defying nature to protect eachother, and yet one book will generate conversations about inherent wickedness of humanity. There’s a lot more good out there than bad, but it’s fascinating how literature when done eloquently can change our perspective of what we know to be true.

Maya :

I loved the book, so when they were making an adaptation I was skeptical, but it's genuinely in my opinion one of the best book to show adaptations I've seen. I love the creativity the creators put into it, and how piggy's character was portrayed especially

Mishanka /Baizhu’s beloved🧪 :

The 1990 version makes me genuinely sick

BossLady :

I read the book in high school, I cried. I also still feel a sort of way that we never learned piggy’s real name

📖 :

i was today years old when i found out the lord of the flies was about stranded boys on and island i thought it was a fantasy book😭

omiiiii🎼 :

“we’re English and the English do everything right” ✌️peak

ihateyoupexrk :

The fact they didn’t even care when there killed Simon and just dance😭

乃ㄖㄖ 🪽 :

If there isnt any beast what was that thing on the island they saw and ran from

pigeons🌿 :

I couldn’t watch this because I relate to much to piggy and I knew his fate since I read the book but it looks so perfect

Nebula :

Iwi :

I fucking hated this book, had everyone in my class talking about how “true” this book was and I was like “this is the opposite of true???? This is not how that works at all?????”
