Everyone always feels for Allie and me too because my girl just wanted her boyfriend to show up and he didn’t and yes he messed up with the kids too but how is his pain so over looked because he missed her play, Dean had never had to deal with grief or anything hard in his life and all of a sudden he lost his Best Friend and everyone else expected him to grief like them but grief is different for everyone and no one understood him everyone just pushed him to be better, even when Allie said “your not the only one who’s ever lost someone” or something like that, like I get it girly but again grief is different and you ain’t exactly the most healed girl when you stuck to a 5 year relationship that sucked because your mum said never to give up on love like what 🤷🏽♀️

I really need them to portray Dean’s grief the way it was shown in the book… maybe even more because Dean lost his bestest friend. Beau was his ride or die 🥹 he got on drugs and he stopped coaching the kids’ hockey team he volunteered for 😭 I need them to write this perfectly
