My biggest concern with Ai is AI safety. Rest, it’s not worth hating on technology that’s inevitable

China has guard rails to prevent companies from laying off people to replace them with AI, America doesn’t. New grads like myself aren’t the happiest with AI because its a big factor why the job market in the US sucks right now

china has a better economic system, ai doesn’t take jobs in that country, unfortunately in the US ai is being used as a replacement for people in an already job scarce market

China has 400+ sitting at 2nd most in the world. Meanwhile in America(sitting at over 4,000+) the government is forcefully kicking out ENTIRE TOWNS AND CITIES just because they allow these centers to hog up every single public resources available, leaving absolutely nothing for the citizens.

Americans are spoiled and used to their preference always being the standard. It’s why starting a business in the US is so easy and why China will eventually pass us but not in consumerism which they need to sustain their economy imho

It’s because they want to deny and reject the possibility that it will replace them, In America it’s a capitalist society so we are all sort of fearful of being replaced so thats why we deny it in our heads, but China is socialist so prob has a reason to use it as a tool rather than a replacement of employment

China, despite their shortcomings, seems to support their citizens better than most countries. Sure they can’t get every single person out of poverty (although they’ve done extremely well in past 50 years) but they’ve been able to improve quality of life using tech better than US/west imo
