Those who have stood by you deserve your kindness too, no matter how little you can offer. It is not always about the size of the gift, it is the intention, love, and gratitude behind it that truly matters. The same energy you use to seek help should be the same energy you use to appreciate people. You cannot cry and beg for assistance today, then wave casually at your helper tomorrow as if nothing happened. Gratitude is a character, not an event. Think about all the relatives, friends, and neighbors you visit who gladly offer you food, support, care, and kindness.
