Me too. My ex wife had an abortion without telling me Nov 3 2013. I am now 52. Will never have a chance to have a blood kid. I adopted her son we he was 5 and now in the military and the best thing to happen to me even though my life with her didn’t work out he’s an amazing kid. I will die for him but not a day goes by I don’t think of having a kid of my own.

I think people don’t understand that men do too feel pain about loosing children due to miscarriages as well. Idk why people assume only the women do. I know it mite be sometimes harder for them to express themselves and sometimes won’t even do it but we def should hold space for them as well. Yes we experience the pain and all the changes we feel during the pregnancy but it’s their would have been child too and all the things we feel sad about and wonder do cross their minds too.

I think about the ones my wife and i lost too. We’d have a 7 & 4 year old in addition to our son now at 6. 😑

Though we are expecting again in June, a girl we will finally get to bring home. My husband and I still celebrate Sofia and Chloes birthdays with a small cake and flowers. They would be 2 and 1.
