Cold air biting at your face, warm breath fogging up in front of you, mouth covered in sugar and ketchup, the continuous cheese pull, and somehow the whole thing just disappears within minutes. It’s supposed to be fully coated in sugar, but after the sugar chaos in my street toast comments last time, I held back a little this time.🫣 👩🏻‍🍳Lazy Corn Dog Recipe •Pancake mix (for the batter) •2 sausages •1 block mozzarella or string cheese •Cornflakes •Oil •Skewers •Sugar •Ketchup and/or mayo Instructions 1. Make the batter with pancake mix, using slightly less water than instructed so it turns out thicker. Pour into a tall cup for easier dipping. 2. Cut the sausages and mozzarella in half, then skewer them together. 3. Crush cornflakes in a zip bag and spread onto a plate. 4. Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. 5. Dip the skewers into the batter until fully coated, then fry. 6. Once golden on both sides, dip them into the batter one more time, coat with cornflakes, and fry again until crispy. 7.
