Well. Cotton and bamboo are splitty fibers. The only cotton that I don’t have a splitting issue with is lions brand performance cotton which is my all time favorite but caboo is so soft and lightweight i really like it. Knitpal has a nice cotton but it’s blended with polymide. Hobby lobby’s cotton is twisted different and doesn’t split as much but pills quickly

Pulling from the center won’t make a difference. It’s S spun. So flip the S upside down (aka pull from the inside) and it’s still an S. I wished they would just spin it tighter. It’s sooo soft. ♥️
