@jenn.ordway: You don’t have to go all the way to NYC to try the viral Dot Cakes from Butterfield’s! 🌈🧁 How to make: - Bake one package of cake mix of your choice (I used funfetti) in a quarter sheet pan or 9x13 pan for roughly 25 minutes (or until toothpick in the center comes out clean), allow to cool completely - Using a 4oz jam jar, press the jar into the cake to cut a ring the size of the jar, press down into the bottom of the jar; there should be about 1/4-1/2” left in the top of the jar for frosting - Fill the rest of the jar with frosting of your choice (I used rainbow chip) level off and make the top very smooth with an offset spatula - Clean up the edges of the rim of the jar so sprinkles only stick to the frosting on top, then dip the entire top of the cake into non-pareil sprinkles until well coated; - Store using the lid to the jar.
