parallax gotta be where this is headed, im hugely nervous for this show but also extremely hopeful and still going to watch it. i think theres a lot of potential here especially if the parallax theory is true. we will just have to wait and see

I think it's because the designers suck, personally. I hate everything about the design of this ring. If it were up to me, it would be solid green - maybe varying shades of green to show details, sure - semi transparent, and simpler in design. Circle around the Lantern, looking mostly forged from one piece of material. But what do I know, Green Lantern has only been my favorite since 1994.

They said Sinestro already left the Corps and was his teacher and that him being Hal’s teacher would play a big role in the show and his character of a green lantern. So I think it’s a nod to that. That there is a bit of “Yellow Lantern” type thinking within Hal, having studied under Sinestro
