Mortgage lender here-AND many of those 3.5% down FHA loans were down payment assistance loans, meaning they put nothing down!

And the more loans the government guarantees, the higher home prices will go because property owners will charge more, knowing they will get their money regardless. This same thing happened to college tuition

And I’m working 12-15 hrs a day trying to buy a home and still don’t qualify!!!!!! Mind you combined with my husbands income we make good money but it’s been so hard to qualify!

yeah I tried to get a house using a fha loan and was told I make to much. I can't believe I got denied because I worked hard to get a better paying employment an denied because of it.

It sucks because my daughter and her husband need to sell and can’t because there are so many houses for sale! They can’t even rent it! Nobody is buying it renting!
