some people live where theres only a pharmacy within walking distance, so they keep things people may need but sell them at significantly higher prices. anything you can get at a pharmacy, you can usually get cheaper at a store like Walmart or even a grocery store

Pharmacy stores like cvs, Walgreens are good for emergencies because even during holidays, 24hrs, natural disasters many stay open so people can get their heart/diabetes, etc….medicine when everything else is closed. Downside is they can be comparatively expensive to the regular stores.

CVS just is short for "convenience store". They're more like small shops that also have pharmacies in them.

Independent pharmacies are usually medicine only, but big chains like CVS or Walgreens will have all this stuff because they’re like convenience stories which also happen to have pharmacies.

Then you realize it is much cheaper to get your ibuprofen somewhere else. Local pharmacy are for prescription drugs and emergency items. Stock up on Ibuprofen at Walmart, Costco or order off Amazon. Save some money. Its expensive to live here.

Pharmacy stores that only have medicine are hard to find now. Most of them were privately owned and were ran out of business by chain stores that are like the one in your video.
