One of my drill sergeants in basic was short. At some point we figured out he would focus on each trainee who was way taller than him. How short was SGT Logan? One time he was yelling at me, I realized I was looking straight over his campaign hat! I’m 6’4 so he was way short!

omg gives me flashbacks 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was Charlie 1073 and my sdi was kinda short. he was also a sgt. all three of my hats were sgts. but our sdi was on the bald and short side lol

My first SDI was short and he would run across the foot lockers, he got relieved when he choked a recruit that was dropped to our platoon. He would blast “Party up” and destroy the squad bay flipping racks and build mount suribachi with those same foot lockers.

We had a kill hat in Alpha Co in 2016 that was short asf, I believe his name was Sgt. Hernandez. One night a recruit was talking in his rack to another recruit and this short DI just full sprints and jumps on top of the footlocker of the recruit that was talking and it completely broke the top and he fell through, which immediately made him look even shorter and a lot of us thought it was funny and laughed. The next day the the quarterdeck and the pit was just awful
