This happened to me once with $1600 and I never got my money back after calling the customer service line for weeks. I’ll never use Chase ever again!! I only use credit unions now

TIP From a banker: Please count your money before putting it into the atm machine. You would’ve caught that folded bill if you counted when you drove up to the atm. It’s a learning experience 😁

Former teller here. A lot of time they don’t service the machine. Someone has to come, once a week usually, take all the money, count it make sure it balances, when it doesn’t (which it won’t) they have to find the exact transaction that mistracked (pray it was only yours) then start the reimbursement process.
