Wash mine every fall. I just keep my distance from bearings. And I always run it at pto speed for 30 or 40 minutes after to dry everything out

Yes at the end of the season. Run it for about 30 minutes to get rid of any water. Then grease all bearings and oil chains and in storage.

it's ok to wash it. especially if you do multiple fields. you don't want to be responsible for spreading seeds in a nice costal field. ask me how I know

we used compressed air in a long blowgun to blow excess dirt and grass off the balers. if not it holds moisture and rust faster. washing it makes the bearings rust faster.
