@reshgala__: Do you see squiggly white lines all over the leaves of spinach, beets, Swiss chard and other leafy greens? There’s a good chance leaf miners are the causing the damage. Here are 3 organic ways to control them: Cover plants with insect netting or row covers. This prevents adult flies from landing and laying eggs in the first place. Check the undersides of leaves regularly. You’ll often find tiny white egg clusters hiding there. I use sticky tape to easily remove them before they hatch. If the damage starts spreading, use an organic Spinosad spray in the evening to help control the larvae naturally.
