It also depends on who KNOWS who’s being slaughtered. My ex is from Iraq 🇮🇶 and was a soldier under Saddam Hussein during Bush’s war on Iraq 🇮🇶. My best friend is from Sudan 🇸🇩. I have friends who fled war in Sudan 🇸🇩,Somalia,Turkey ,Kurdistan,Afghanistan and many other countries,most of whom are Muslim . And I know that despite having heard their stories,I can in no way possibly begin to comprehend the horrific reality of what they witnessed and endured and ultimately fled. I’m aware of just how monstrous it is,although I can never begin to truly comprehend the reality of what they’ve experienced. But I’m the rarity and not the ignorant norm.
