Br. John OMI🇻🇦 :
This is what we mean when we say the Church is Universal 🥹, the Church is for all.
For every language, every nation, every condition of life, and every person created by God. Seeing a deaf priest celebrate the Holy Mass is such a powerful reminder that the Catholic Church excludes no one from the love of Christ. Even in silence, the Gospel is proclaimed. Even through signs instead of spoken words, Christ is still truly present upon the altar.
The beauty of the Holy Catholic Church is that she reaches every soul: the weak and the strong, the hearing and the deaf, the learned and the simple. In every corner of the earth, the same sacrifice of the Mass is offered, the same Lord is adored, and the same grace is poured out upon His people. This is why the Church is called Catholic, meaning universal, because her arms are open to all humanity.
May the soul of his beloved mother, through the mercy of God, rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon her. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord. Amen.
