I would use the number bond but reverse it.. For example instead of trying to divide, I would start with 3 and multiply by 10 to get 30 and then do 3x4 to get 12 ..

what a great way....I sucked at math as a child and leaned to do this intuitively as a teen to figure it out. Gonna teach my granddaughter this🥰🥰🥰

But if you’ve always done something one way it’s easy to think about it that way it’s SO much harder retraining yourself to think about it that way if a different way is automatic, I don’t know that it means it’s fake? Im happy to still learn more or try though!
