Makima (マキマ) is one of the most important characters in Chainsaw Man and the main antagonist of the Public Safety Arc. Makima is calm, intelligent, charismatic, and seemingly compassionate. When she first meets Denji, she offers him food, shelter, purpose, and affection, becoming the first person to truly acknowledge him. Because of this, Denji quickly develops deep feelings for her and places immense trust in her. However, behind her gentle appearance lies a cold and calculating individual willing to manipulate anyone to achieve her goals.
