Between the new mechanics, unique enemies, and that unmistakable Mario charm, Super Mario Bros. (USA) felt bold, weird in the best way, and incredibly fun. It didn’t just copy what worked — it tried something new and still nailed it. Looking back now, I think that’s part of why it’s stuck with me all these years.
