Satu rusun, tapi ternyata nggak semuanya harus benar-benar diambil di lokasi salah satu rumah susun lawas di kawasan Petamburan, Jakarta Pusat. Sementara itu ada beberapa bagian yang memanfaatkan lokasi rusun secara langsung dan beberapa adegan dibangun di dalam studio.Kenapa harus repot bikin dua setup? Karena keduanya punya nilai lebih. lokasi asli punya sesuatu yang sulit dibuat ulang: tekstur, skala, ambience, dan rasa “hidup” dari sebuah rusun. Sementara studio memberi filmmaker sebuah kontrol, sesuatu yang berbeda dan bisa di set, mulai dari pencahayaan, blocking, pergerakan kamera, sampai detail ruang bisa diatur sesuai kebutuhan adegan. Jadi, ketika kita melihat sebuah rusun terasa nyata di layar, belum tentu semuanya benar-benar terjadi di satu tempat.
