Fun fact: Looking at an e-ink tablet (like a Kindle) with 0 brightness is the same as looking at paper, in terms of your eyes. If you turn brightness on, it’s very similar to looking at a paper page with a lamp. Whereas phone/tablet screens have backlight reflecting right into your eyes, and also flicker 60 times per second

I use my A16 iPad to read and I love it so much!! I use a paper screen protector which protects my iPad from the glare and I love the big size. I have notifications off on my iPad so I’ve never been interrupted and I only have to charge it once a week for about an hour. I love how I can make colorful notes and see the beautiful colors in my library. Sometimes I even use the setting where you can play white noise from your iPad while reading. It auto adjusts to whatever setting I’m in (white pages during day, black at night.) I simply can’t advocate enough for the iPad, but to each their own! I actually won a free kindle then gave it away haha

I don’t enjoy the app thanks to glare - I love an e-ink screen. I will however be switching to an android e-reader when my kindle eventually stops working (it’s 6 years old) so that I can use the app on an e-ink screen, along with other reading apps such as borrowbox!

I love my Kindle but I also have the app on my phone - I try and redirect mindlessly scrolling on my phone to doing something productive and reading my book!

I suffer with dyslexia I use kindle app on iPad the mean reason is I need white background and on kindle paperweight it won’t do that I want get kindle which does this but there is so many I don’t know which one to get and don’t want to waste money

I have a 7inch amazon fire tablet that i use the kindle app on my mam has a kindle but i prefer the feel of the tablet. I use the tablet solely to read and have no other apps on it

I want a kindle for bed; id use iPad to have sound and put phone on charge so i don’t use it, plus i want something bigger than phone but smaller than iPad

Kindle is way more practical, light is small to bring with me on trips. I did start with kindle on iPad but I have a pro 11 and it’s too big to use in bed .
