girl i was TERRIFIED like ive never had any surgery done before and I just remember one moment i was scared as hell the next moment i was waking up and it was over. you’ll be okay

i was terrified of the same thing. i’m also usually really bad with pain and recovery. the anesthesia works so fast. you literally blink and you’re awake again. i’m on day 3 and it has not been as bad as people make it seem. just listen and follow what what the doctors tell you. i also have an alarm set every 4 hours to take my meds. just to make sure im not in pain. the worse i’ve felt is when both painkillers are wearing off. and its just a soreness. period cramps are much worse than the pain ive had so far

I got mine out yesterday. The last thing I said was like “woah can’t feel my LEGS!” then I passed out. I woke up confused but it was fine

I’m scared of the IV - because I always either faint or throw up or get panic attacks because of needles - plus my friend told me her recovery was hell 💔

I was also terrified of the anesthesia. But it happened so fast, I don’t even remember falling asleep/waking up. I was out of it but still mostly aware and it wore off pretty quick. I cried a lot after but not bc of pain. The worst is the recovery. I now have trismus (lockjaw) and it is the WORSTT.

honestly the prep and the aftercare is the worst part i barely remember anything after they put me under and even when i was apparently woken up i still have no idea

Happy gas is elite try and get it I was laughing all the way through it and didn’t feel the needle but now post op i think I have a dry socket

I had massive anxiety about anesthesia awareness, but they gave me 4mg Ativan and after that the ONLY thing I can recall is getting the iv, after that all I remember is the next morning and some glimpses of getting home

this was my first time under anesthesia and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I did wake up crying, but only bc they called me a cry baby 😭

I got mine out yesterday after putting it off cause I was so nervous. Got all four out, 2 impacted. Going into the operation I was super scared, but the worst part was getting the IV. One second I was awake, the next out like a light. Woke up without feeling or remembering any part of it, and so far my pain has been manageable, and I would actually say the pain the wisdom teeth cause is worst than the recovery:) I know exactly how you’re feeling, but now that I’ve done it I can say it’s no where near as bad as you can think!!

Got mine out like 7-8hrs ago and I was put to sleep. Got iv thru many hand, not even uncomfortable tickles. I don’t remember falling asleep and woke up fine, even asking to keep my teeth! Talk with them, I was just rlly funny after waking up like laughing
