I grew up poor as well and even to this day I love stroganoff hamburger helper with bread & butter & Kraft dinner (Mac & cheese) with hotdog. Sometimes when I eat the meals it reminds of me times when I was young and poor & how we take things for granted sometimes.

I do the same thing with ramen. Ate ALOT of ramen growing up. As an adult every now and then I get a hankering for it 🤷♂️. Also pairs great with buttered toast!

We weren’t poor poor when I was growing up, but we used to have that, along with HH Lasagna, at least once a week. My Dad worked out of town a lot, and my Mom wasn’t the best cook in the kitchen, so it was easy and convenient. So, you’ll get no disrespect from me. Even as an adult, close to 60 now, hubby and I still have it in occasion.
