Do a rebuilt transmission! We just spend $4000 on a rebuilt one, with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty!

If you don’t want to buy a transmission new you can look at salvage yard and get it way cheeper

on my way to an ap exam in highschool, the engine in my jeep wrangler went bye bye 😂 i now have a remanufactured engine. luckily it’s under lifetime warranty so any fix is no more than $100

This happened to our van but we were able to get a refurbished transmission for just under $4,000. Still super expensive and upsetting though.
