I always gathered up the leaves and used a clothes pin to clip. It shot always beautiful heads.

Fold two inner leaves over then tie you don’t want any sun to get in it will yellow the head

Looks great! 😁 I normally snap the inner leaves closest to the flower head and bend them over to cover the cauliflower so the sun doesn’t yellow it, works really well and only takes a few seconds to do 😁
