Kids are very impressionable, you tell them they're hyper bc they had sugar and they will act that way, you tell a teenager they have an attitude they will get one, you tell a kid that kids hate vegetables they won't eat them, they may make those choices themselves sometimes but most of the time they're just following your expectations because they never had the chance to make that choice without it being chosen for them first
