Not lip syncing. A backing track. Listen really closely you can hear the backing track thats been mixed to sound the best with the best takes from the studio so everyone gets the show they paid for, BUT theres also a second slightly quieter and slightly off at different points that are actually him singing into the microphone. ANY professional concert you have gone to has had backing tracks but they are much more evident in stadiums because sound engineers actually have to delay the sound and fill it in different places to get the best audio experience for everyone which can make it seem like what youre hearing is way off what youre seeing.

Saw them at the Ryman in Nashville a few years ago (second time of several including their upcoming Knoxville show) and was just a couple rows back, if you know the venue that says quite a bit, definitely wasn’t lip syncing there (can’t confirm the others, not as good of seats comparatively)
