@josh_neille: Crikey Moses, legends… it’s hard being the farm manager of what’s gotta be one of the biggest free-range guinea pig herds in the Southern Hemisphere down here in Eastern Australia 😂🐹 Have a look at the crazy hairdos on some of these little critters. You reckon I’ve got wild hair? Check out some of these pigs. Absolute little furry potatoes living their best lives out here on the hobby farm. They’re all in awesome condition, the noises they make crack me up, and every single one’s got its own personality. A lot of people ask why I keep guinea pigs. They help keep the weeds down, a few go to local families as kids’ pets, and honestly… they’re just awesome little animals to have around. Life’s tough for a guinea pig though. If they wander outside the high fence, foxes and birds of prey definitely keep things interesting. They haven’t exactly got many defensive tactics other than looking cute and squeaking loudly 😅 But out of all the wildlife and crazy critters here on the farm, kids always seem drawn to the guinea pigs the most. Who else grew up with guinea pigs? 😂🐹 Who had the classic story where you thought you had two boys or two girls… then suddenly had guinea pigs EVERYWHERE? Or maybe the neighbour’s dog got in, the cat caused chaos, or an eagle swooped through and stole one? I love hearing everyone’s old guinea pig stories 🐹🌾🇦🇺
